When you make an appointment with us, we carve out that time just for you. If for some reason you are not able to make it to your scheduled appointment, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible, as this allows us to give that time slot to someone else. While we do completely understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, we just ask that you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 48 hours.
We don’t charge a cancellation or rescheduling fee the first time someone cancels or needs to reschedule their appointment. If it happens a second time, then a $100 fee be will charged. We allow no more than 4 changes, as this will result in the loss of your deposit, and upon booking again full fee of service will be required.
We respectfully request at least 48-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive services.
We value our staff’s time. And understand that they have other gigs, family, and friends with whom they could be spending time. SteadyOwl pays its staff the entire wage for any missed or late canceled appointment out of respect for their valuable time. Therefore, we have a strictly enforced 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Any appointment missed, late canceled, or changed without 48-hour notice will result in a charge equal to 100% of the reserved service amount. Please understand that it is your responsibility as the client to remember your appointment dates and times to prevent any missed appointments.
Any late arrival after 15 minutes may shorten your appointment time if no prior indication of tardiness is given. We recognize that the set appointment time frames may differ from the actual appointment by 10-15 minutes based on shift changes, traffic, and the personal needs of our videographers and clients.
It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any of our control, such as power outage, unfortunate incidence, or weather that requires you or us to have to cancel or be unavailable during regular business hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment and no charges will apply.
We feel that it is only fair that we honor the same policies to our clients. If we have to cancel a client with less than 48 hours’ notice of the appointment scheduled, we will honor the same policy and your next appointment will be free of charge, or 100% refund of your deposit.
Life happens. we understand problems may arise and we encourage communication in all cases. If anything happens that results in the need for a cancellation, a refund, or a rescheduling of a shoot, we will do our best to work with your specific needs.
